What to see?

Istanbul has a lot to offer. 

Historical peninsula has to be visited to wander in the streets of history. Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia Museum, Basilica Cistern, Beyazit Square, Sultanahmet Square, Suleymaniye Square, Suleymaniye Mosque and Sultanahmet Mosque can be visited in the historical peninsula.

Sultanahmet Mosque is a historical mosque in Istanbul which was the capital city of the Ottoman Empire (from 1453 to 1923). The mosque is also known as the Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles decorating the inner walls.

Just like the most other mosques, it was built in the reigning period of Sultan Ahmet the First between 1609 and 1616. Mosque includes the tomb of its founder, one madrasah, and almshouse.

Galata Tower, Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue are the other point of interests that needs to be seen.
